Media Sells Big Oil Floor Seats at the Conventions

Ya know since the Media has taken to signing Big Oil to Sponsor the Political coverage, including BOTH upcoming Conventions, Zeke got a thinkin'.

"As ThinkProgress noted yesterday, ExxonMobil is sponsoring CNN’s coverage of both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. We also noted that CBS’s political coverage is sponsored by ExxonMobil. Now, it appears that National Journal has also opened its doors to Big Oil sponsorship, announcing on its website that its coverage of the 2008 conventions will be “presented by ExxonMobil” [STORY]

So what the hell? Zeke is "The Media" too, right? So maybe I should start selling ad's to THOSE guys. They have plenty of our money. Maybe I could slap their logo on my Monster Truck as part of the deal? "Principles" are just things we use in this Country to justify Not-for-Profit concepts, so ATTENTION BIG OIL Ad Guys: Zeke is for Sale! Let me spin your Lies and use up that pathetic amount of credibility I have!

• I could write storys about how Oil Spills are good for fish and birds, like Shell did with Marine Mammals recently.
• How about a hit piece on those troublesome Congressmen that want the Big Oil to drill the 68 Million Acres of leased land they have already, instead of new Offshore areas?
• Maybe I could just flat out MAKE UP SOME BAD SHIT about Solar Power? Like "The Industry is owned and run secretly by Islamic Terrorists? Oh thats good stuff! Come on, AdBoys!"
